The International Society Luther Wittenberg (ILSW) met on 17-18 January in St. Louis, Miss. The ILSW plans to establish a confessional Lutheran presence in Wittenberg, Germany under the auspices of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, in cooperation with German sister church, the Independent Evangelical Lutheran Church (SELK) for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in 2017.
