“Coffee and conversation are not only two topics I really enjoy, but I have had the opportunity to meet with many of my private students at the new cafe that opened in the building where I live. I know, quite convenient. I want to introduce you to Mark (not his real name). I met Mark for the first time at a Christian cafe here in town for conversation. We were introduced by a friend because Mark had interest in keeping up his English skills so we discuss different topics as we meet once a week. A few weeks ago we talked about faith and religion. I found out that he believes in a higher being, but not in God. He had many questions. He knew about Jesus and that He died on the cross. He said he wondered why everyone read the Bible and he was interested in reading it. The following week, I gave him a Czech New Testament. He was thankful. I am also very thankful for this opportunity to be a witness for Christ. I pray that as he reads the Bible, that his heart is open to what God has to say. I know that I can not change his heart to believe that Jesus is our Savior, but the Holy Spirit can.

“Please pray for Mark and for me that I might be a bold and nonjudgmental Christian example so that he may see Christ through me.”
