Christ speaks fundamental truths about human life. He says that many live in a state of hunger and thirst—the hunger and thirst of our souls. Those are the hunger and thirst from the Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3 ESV). He who hungers in spirit seeks spiritual things, while the worldly person is hungry for this world. The world lives by passions, but the Bible teaches that “to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6 ESV).

We have loved ourselves and the things of this world more than our neighbor; we have feared, loved, and trusted above all things in that which is not Yahweh. When the law comes down on us in this way, our hearts rend. They are torn and destroyed. They are exposed.

Eurasia Missionaries to Bring Youth to the National Youth Gathering in Summer 2016

The National Youth Gathering will go International when students and their missionary and other leaders from the Eurasia Region head to the United States to take part in all of these exciting opportunities. Three missionaries from the Eurasia Region are organizing groups of students from their respective places of service to head over for an experience of Christian fellowship on a scale these students have never experienced.
