At the conclusion of the first day’s sessions of the International Lutheran Theological Conference held in Prague, Czech Republic, attendees walked to the nearby St. Michael Lutheran Church for a Vespers service. Rev. Matthew Harrison, president of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), delivered the sermon, based on a Bible reading from Matthew 17:1-8. This year’s conference focuses on “Lutheranism in the 21st Century.”
