The view from the hotel in Malta was of the harbor. Malta is on the Mediterranean Sea.
The Malta Grace Place retreat was a great blessing to Eurasian missionaries and other personnel in the field, as well as our partners from Lutheran Hour Ministries. We would like to thank Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) and all Grace Place Supporters for their generous gifts which made this retreat possible.
In learning to care for themselves and their families, the participants will now be better able to live healthy, balanced lives. Such balance will translate into even more energy for sharing the Gospel with those who are lost! Additionally, the relationship skills, communication styles, and other tips which were learned will also impact relationships with co-workers and with those the missionaries and other personnel serve in the field. By better understanding how to communicate, resolve conflict, and forgive, participants can build better relationships with church members and the lost so that the Gospel may encounter no hindrances! Praise be to God for this wonderful opportunity! Enjoy these snapshots of the five day retreat.

Bob and Laine Rosin listen to presentations. Dr. Rosin is a professor at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and often travels throughout Eurasia to teach at partner churches and their seminaries.
Dr. Ludwig and his wife gave a wonderfully honest, fun, and informative presentation on Painters vs. Pointers (communication styles). Their brief skits were a highlight of the retreat.
Participants listen as Dr. Ludwig presents.
