Thank you for spending this week reflecting on Holy Week with the Eurasia Blog. Today’s is simple and sweet with a little flavor of Easter in our region. We pray that your Easter has been blessed!

God is no longer silent. He has opened the tomb and proclaimed the wonderful news: He is not here!

Jesus is risen! He is risen indeed! And He continues to speak to you and to me through our pastors and in Word and Sacrament. Loudly and resoundingly, He claims us as His own, speaking words of life and hope and peace and pardon, and standing before the Father pleading for us! Thanks be to God; He does all things well!

Let us Pray: Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Resurrection and the Life; we praise You for Your victory over death and the grave. Remind us always through our Pastors, our Baptisms, and Your Holy Supper that Your death is our death and Your resurrection is our resurrection so that we may live in hope; for You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
