Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Moscow, part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia (ELCIR), and coordinator of music projects for the LCMS in Russia. Darya is an accomplished musician (cello, viola da gamba, organ) and a journalist in the area of music.
The LCMS has supported a mobile medical and dental trailer in the country of Kyrgyzstan for more than a decade, during which it has served the needs of more than 240,000 people. Recently, while the trailer and its staff were serving the community of Progress, Kyrgyzstan, the staff shared about the impact this work has had on the country and the church.
I volunteer at a place called EDEN, which is a combination of a school, and an after-school place for mentally and physically handicapped adults.I often work one on one with clients who do not speak much, but who can clearly communicate in other ways. I see my role at Selezka Diaconie as preaching the Gospel by providing care and support where it is needed.
Deacon Vyacheslav Shadrin shares about the recent youth outreach and ministry that has happened in Minusinsk, which is located in southern Siberia, Russia. Deacon Shadrin is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia, an LCMS partner church.
